But, in person, what really keeps your interest is what's just underneath that serenity. The cuts and scars -the very things that serve as the foundation for all that serenity - those are what make the scene worth a longer look. The look differs from a standard pour look because of the force behind the paint and how much variety you can create in the impact points by how hard or fast you choose to work.
